My father in law is just starting treatment of his spine with radiation; i am nervous he will get really sick. Has anyone been through radiation for their bones?

Men dont sit still very well; i know of several who have pursured various holostic approaches and felt qutie good about the results as well.

I didn’t. After salvage radiation treatment, I sought out holistic treatments. Didn’t find anything that seemed to help but I couldn’t just sit still and do nothing. I did feel good that I was at least trying and it furthered my education into this difficult disease.

With a psa now rising after initial treatment my doctor says i can wait before i do anything else. If the cancer is coming back, shouldnt i be doing something now; does everybody just wait??

I would like to introduce myself. I am a 60 year old advanced metatastic prostate cancer patient. I was diagnosed in 2004 and underwent surgery, then radiation at MD Anderson, followed by hormone therapy and immune and chemo therapy. My cancer has been under control for 6 years but 3 months ago my PSA started rising again. I have experienced a lot and have a lot of inight I will be glad to share with anyone who needs help.
