Has your neice already had surgery and is now receiving chemo? I will look into clinicl trials; the only thing i have seen recently is the use of Herceptin in certain patients.

my niece was diagnosed with ge juction adenocarcinoma with mets to lymph 1 year ago April 21. She is currently doing chemo every 3 weeks at Northwestern in Chicago. Anyone have similar???
I have had experience with similar; do you know if its stage III or IV
stage 4 extensive lymph node involvement

I have a question for you, the moderator!! I was diagnosed and treated for two separate primary cancers in 2009: NHL and GIST. Is there a community here for people like me. I am sure I am not alone! Having 2 cancers at same time and surviving them both brings different emotions and perspective, confusion, fears,than just one. Anyone care to comment??
