Anyone with a performed cryotherapy out there instead of radiation to reduce the bone tumour´s growth and make it sleep? Seeking reference?
i did a little research on cryotherapy and treatment of bone cancer; it is clearly used but there is not a lot published; i did find this which may be useful.

My mum´s having a met in her vertebrae, received CarboTaxol and Avastin plus zometa, however, with no effect…have you received any more successful coctail to beat the beast? What about radiation, heard about more targeted tomotherapy? We received radiation to strengthen the vertebrae before we received the chemo, however, now we were recommended an operation…worries? Anyone with operation on spine? Are you for or against?

We are interested in all kinds of treatments, share your stories with us…
My fether in law was treated with a drug called a bisphosphonate which worked very well.
mum´s on zometa, too 2 weeks ago alongside with chemo which had to be stop because it apparently didn´t work…what kind of chemo did he receive? my mum has been offered an operation today, however, there were patients who had it even worse after the operation than before, so we are a bit cautious and not rushing into it…anyone´s with a spine tumor removal?
